This darkens our horizon and hinders our faith walk with God right now. In this episode we see that God’s real Hope has nothing at all to do with you or what you do, but completely upon His initiative and successful action:

  • The incredibly encouraging reality of God’s supreme sovereignty can be clearly seen in Romans 8:28-30.
  • All things work together for good… and why… and for whom?

More Than Conquerors in the Darkest of Times 7 – Saved in Hope

[Series: More Than Conquerors in the Darkest of Times] All around us seems to be in hopelessness and despair. Our world has been thrown into deep crisis because of the pandemic. Racial unrest tears the heart of the nation. In city after city the voices of peaceful protesters are drowned out by gangs of criminals who loot, set fire and murder at night. Is there any possible hope? In this episode we will see that GOD HIMSELF says, “Yes! There is INCREDIBLE HOPE”…

  • The troubles of our time are seen in the much wider context of the creation that “groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”
  • It is critical that a Christian not look to the world’s problems from a worldly perspective, but based on the Bible. The heart of racisim is the sinful selfishness of man.
  • The believer, even though outwardly has a temporary body, has the Holy Spirit who testifies to us of the realities of the world to come.
  • The great hope which is come. What is the culmination of all things.

More Than Conquerors in the Darkest of Times, Part 3: Victory in Context 2

[Series: More Than Conquerors in the Darkest of Times] Every single believer is already “more than a conqueror through Him who loved us” — even in the darkest of times. Unfortunately, many believers don’t understand the incredible truths of God’s Love, and the incredible things that God has done for them and to them. So, they are caught up with the world’s fear, just like anyone else.

In this episode, we’ll continue looking a the context of such love that has made us more than conquerors looking at Romans chapters 4 and 5:

  • We have no need to fear, because God’s Perfect Love casts out fear.
  • We receive all the benefits of the Grace of God and what Christ has already accomplished for us by faith.
  • God’s Grace is accomplished through Jesus’ work in the past, justifying and reconciling us, gives us admission into the full benefits of God’s grace right now and gives us a real, rejoicing hope for our future.
  • The reality that there are only two races of humans on the planet: those in first Adam, who brought sin, death and condemnation to all and those in the Last Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ, who receive the gift of righteousness, peace and abundance of grace to reign as kings in this life.
