Victorious Christian Living

Blessed #18: In Christ Realities (Part 5)

[Blessed Beyond Imagination #18]

Many Christians struggle with living as the brand new creature in Christ that they REALLY ARE, because they think, “I don’t think I’m ‘good enough’ or ‘holy enough’ or ‘righteous enough”. That’s right: you are NOT… but the Lord Jesus Christ is! And that makes a world of difference for you, in terms of the enjoyment of the blessed new life. Today we look at:

  • The glorious truth of 1 Corinthians 1:30, which tells us that we are in Christ because GOD did it. As well as the incredible context of 1 Corinthians 1:30.
  • You are a partaker of the blessings of God, not because you are so worthy, but because of what GOD THE FATHER has accomplished IN and THROUGH Jesus Christ!
  • Romans 4:5-8 and the fact that God justifies and blesses the UNGODLY on the basis of faith, which is according to God’s Grace (Romans 4:16).
  • The Bible clearly declares that “the just SHALL LIVE by FAITH”, which looks to Jesus Christ as our all in all.

Blessed #17: In Christ Realities (Part 4)

[Blessed Beyond Imagination #17. The beginning of this podcast has encouragement from God’s Word dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis].

It’s true: God has already richly blessed you, believer, beyond imagination! But many struggle and ask, “Why isn’t this working in my life?”. We tackling that perplexing question in this episode:

  • Why “doing for God” is a big mistake.
  • Many look at things carnally — after the flesh, rather than recognizing the new creation realities by the Spirit.
  • The importance of walking by faith, not by sight.
  • What it means to be a “new creature”.

Exposing Satan’s Master Scheme: To Be Like God WITHOUT GOD – Pt. 5

[Part 5 of 5] While Satan’s plan to keep us away from God is devious — by distracting us with DOING to be like God — God’s REALITY for the new order of our being is INFINITELY better than DO — it is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory. In this episode we learn:

  • That we don’t live “for” Christ, but Christ HIMSELF is our life, who is IN us (1 Cor 1:27)
  • The zenith of Christian living is because of our union with Christ, who lives through us, AS US.
  • Living by The Spirit vs. living by the flesh (our humanity)
  • God is not interested in you “becoming”. Believer, you ARE because Christ IS.
  • The NEW ME: a humble vessel, honored to carry and manifest The Lord Jesus Christ!

Exposing Satan’s Master Scheme: To Be Like God WITHOUT GOD – Pt. 3

[Part 3 of 5] Satan’s #1 goal is to keep us away from God, at all costs. And his #1 tactic to achieve that goal is so subtle, seemingly so good, that we miss it entirely: He tries to get us to be LIKE GOD WITHOUT GOD, by having us believe that we become like God because of what WE DO. In this episode we look at The Perfect Son of God and Son of Man, Jesus, and how He countered that lie. We delve into:

  • Important warning signs that the devil is keeping us away from God by distracting us with trying to DO to become like God.
  • Satan’s failed schemes against Jesus, the Perfect Man, and how Jesus countered those schemes, which were centered on “DO to become like God”.
  • Jesus #1 counter to Satan’s “DO to become like God” tactic: “I can do NOTHING of Myself” (John 5:19)

The Just Shall Live By Faith – Pt 11 (Hebrews Pt 41)

[Hebrews 11:30-33a] In this episode, we continue to look at OVERCOMING FAITH:

  • Joshua and the Conquest
  • The leadership of God’s people BY FAITH and its effects. They were ordinary people OF FAITH who trusted in an EXTRAORDINARY GOD! God is the one who is great, The Hero, and HE does mighty things through those who have FAITH IN HIM.

The Just Shall Live By Faith – Pt 9 (Hebrews Pt 39)

[Hebrews 11:13-22]  How did they do it? How did those memorialized in Hebrews Chapter 11 live in such a way that God selected them and their story as examples of faith? The answer: they lived by faith. In this episode we:

  • Remember the important context of Hebrews 11 — the full book of Hebrews, centered on CHRIST and His finished work.
  • How knowing the promises of God and embracing them gives us great assurance that leads to God-pleasing, triumphant faith
  • How to face the impossible task, like Abraham, and see victory.

The Just Shall Live By Faith – Pt 1 (Hebrews Pt 31)

[This episode is part 1 of a mini-series called, “The Just Shall Live By Faith”. It is also a continuation of the “Hebrews: The Glory of the New Covenant” series. Note, this podcast is based on our article, “The Necessity of The Just Shall Live By Faith“, found on the www.DailyInChrist.org website.]

The just shall live by faith“. Six powerful and vital words that are often neglected by the vast majority of Christians. Living by faith is non-optional with God. In four key places in the scripture we read, “the just shall live by faith”. The language of faith appears 677 in the New Testament. From God’s perspective, living by faith is essential to pleasing Him (Heb 11:6) and successfully living the Christian life.

Why? In this groundbreaking episode, we’ll learn how living by faith is intimately tied to the grace of God and the finished work of our Lord Jesus. You’ll learn essential keys to living victoriously by faith!

Hebrews Pt 30: Remember!

[Hebrews 10:32-37]

It can be tough walking in a world where the majority of those around us walk by sight and not by faith, by the flesh and not by the Spirit. In this episode we look at:

  • The importance of remembering the fullness of Jesus Christ, the perfection of His finished work and that we are 100% complete in Him.
  • The supernatural effect of the illumination of Christ, His finished work, our completeness in Him and Christ alive in us.
  • Holding on to the confidence we have in Him.
  • The great reward such confidence gives us.

Hebrews Pt 01: Intro

This is the first installment in our Hebrews the Glory of the New Covenant series. In this introduction, we cover:

  • Hebrews has a lot to do with covenants. What is a covenant? Why would God make a covenant when He has perfect and infinite integrity?
  • The Old Covenant: the covenant of law. Based on man’s performance and proves man to be a sinner and a failure.
  • The New Covenant: the covenant of grace. Hebrews is chiefly about the New Covenant. It is based on the perfect person and finished work of Jesus Christ.
  • How the New Covenant offers “so much more” than the Old Covenant.
  • The importance of the context of Hebrews
  • The warnings of Hebrews
  • Therefore, consider Jesus.
